Our Staff's Review (Required For Hosts: Please phonetically spell your name)
I had the chance to speak with the director of this incredible Christian camp, and I walked away genuinely encouraged by what they’re doing. The leadership is warm and welcoming, and it’s clear that they truly care about investing in their campers and young adult staffers — not only through hands-on experiences but through personal discipleship and spiritual growth as well. In order to host thousands of school children each year, this camp typically accepts around 10 interns, offering a full-year program where you’ll be deeply involved in camp ministry, receive training in key areas (like First Aid, water safety, and kitchen service), and get plugged into the local Christian community. There are also opportunities for shorter stays, helping with things like maintenance or kitchen service. From my conversation, it’s obvious this is more than just a place to serve — it’s a place to grow, learn, and be part of something much bigger. If you love working with children and youth, enjoy the outdoors, and are looking for a way to serve God while experiencing Aussie culture, this is a beautiful opportunity! -Trent from Cross Exchange
